out of gas

ran out of gas today... bethany warned me the tank was super low, but i proceded to push it and see how far i could go thinking i was smarter than the beeping "low fuel" warnings. i guess not. should of listened to my wife with lots of common sense... so anyway, we ended up rolling backwards down a hill to a concrete plant. we spent many hours stranded in a freezing cold blizzard and killed a few small rodents which we cooked over a fire we started by rubbing sticks together. it was rough. my buddy brock came and rescued us in his 4x4 truck from the brutal conditions. you rock brock.

oh ya, just kidding about the brutal conditions... we live in southern california... :)

my 1 hour buddy

this is my one hour buddy i had last night. he got separated from his owner and was lost, but he sure was happy to join me in my apartment for a bit! i spoiled him with some deli meat and water. yum.
after about an hour i heard some whistling and calling for a dog, so i knew that was probably his owner and sure enough it was. that guy was sooo stoked to see his dog again. said he planned on staying up all night until he found his pug.

i want a dog.
