world baseball classic: Japan vs Cuba
i worked for Robert Beck again last night at the world baseball classic final game, Japan vs Cuba. it was great fun watching the game. Congrats to Japan for a 10-6 win!
a few snapshots:
enthusiastic cuba fan before the game-
The Legendary Hank Aaron gave the first pitch-
a fairly good seat i'd say-
these are all journalists in the press box writing articles that will be published in newpapers and websites before the game is even over. pretty amazing-
funniest thing i saw all night. you know that baseball is a really a mans sport when there is a 10 minute line for the mens bathroom and no line at all for the womens-

what the heck is it? (3)
Since Amy guessed the last one so quick, I said I'd make this one really hard. I think only my oregon friends and family will know this one. Leave a comment and guess!
*Update March 7th* Congrats to an anonymous guesser... the inside of a pipe is the correct answer. More specifically- it is the inside of my one and only homemade spudgun. It's made out of PVC pipe and it shoots potatoes (or whatever else you can stuff in there) incredibly far. All the charred stuff you see is from the explosion that happens inside the chamber, and it's green because I use green spray paint as the flammable propellant. Cool stuff. A lot of my friends have shot it with me, so I thought they might be able to guess, but it looks like they chickened out on guessing. Here's some more pics of it:
