Preston, Idaho (where your wildest dreams come true)
This post is for all you Napoleon Dynamite fans (you know who you are).
So Bethany and I were driving back home from our wonderful trip to Jackson, Wyoming and we noticed on the road map that Preston, Idaho was along our way home. Well, kinda on our way. It was probably an hour out of the way, but hey, whats a flippin hour when you taking about Napoleons hometown. It was a detour well worth the drive.
Our best find was the real deal of Uncle Rico's van. Being so famous seems like it would be on display downtown with tourists flocking the attraction, but nope, it was just quietly sitting in someone's driveway. Here's some photos I took in all it's glory-
We decided to stop in a thrift store downtown, to see if they had any good original Nintendo games, and sure enough they had a bunch. I bought paperboy 2 for 2 bucks. Score. And even better, turns out that is the thrift store they filmed the "prom suit" scene in. sweet. pics of the thrift store-
And here is some other random pics from Preston. If your ever in the area its worth a visit!
