what can you do with a huge wooden spool?

I found this huge wooden spool in a field and decided to have some fun on it. Sorry about the fuzzy photos and shaky video, it's not my fault cuz i was in front of the camera for once.

Blaine's tip of the week, #4

My wife Bethany recently started grinding coffee beans and making her own coffee at home. She saw on a website somewhere that pouring the ground up coffee beans down the drain is actually good for it... uhhh, i don't think so. Unless this is just some freak accident, it will clog it big time!

So my buddy came over to help unclog it. I concealed his identity to protect the innocent. Oh ya, and that bottom pic is just a fraction of what came out of the drain. NASTY

mullet of the week

Sorry it's been so long since the last post! Things have been busy and I've been shooting a lot of fun new stuff. I will hopefully get some time soon to update with some new images.

Until then, please enjoy this wonderful mullet I spotted and hunted down yesterday.

the beautiful ocean

Last night was so fun... I went scuba diving with uncle andy and my cousin drew with hopes of catching lots of lobster. we all got our limits so we ended up with lots and lots of lobster. yummy.
there is nothing quite like scuba diving at night. all the creatures down there are noctural so they come crawling out of their holes to explore. Tons of fish, octopus, sting rays, sharks, HUGE starfish, urchines, big worm things, little worm things, crabs, and of course lobster are just FEW of the things you see down there. so cool.
the full moon was really amazing too. i went down 20 feet to the bottom, turned off my light, and layed there in the dark water looking up to the surface. the moonlight made everything really blue and it was silouetting the kelp above me. and then watching my air bubbles race to the surface was sweet too.
linz, you need to learn scuba diving asap! you'd go crazy down there!

anyway here are a few snappies.. i really need to get a nice underwater camera system so i can take cool pics down there.
