Blaine's tip of the week, #3

Here's a great tip of the week that nobody should ever live their life without. I took some wonderful pics to go along with the instructions.

Have you ever popped open a can of something and tried to shake it out, and it just won't go? Refried beans are notorious for this, as with a lot of other canned stuff too like juice concentrates. So when it won't come out you end up spooning it out, and it's all stuck to the sides of the can, and everything just snowballs into a huge disaster from then on.

Well well, I have the solution for you! Grab a sharp pointed knife and turn the can upside down. Stab the bottom of the can so the knife pokes a small hole.

Shake the can upside down and waaalaaa! the contents will slide out like, well, I won't say it, just look at the pic below.

Then you can go about your business making some tasty bean + cheese quesadillas.

funny shadow

this is a random post... at lake powell there are tons of sweet rocks to climb up and you don't have to worry about falling because there is water right below you all the time. my brother colin was always climbing up rocks and this time was pretty funny, when he jumped off (the second pic) his dread hair shadow looked super funny and cool, and i didn't notice it until later when i downloaded the photos. and it totally looks like the logo of a hat company here in hood river called shred alert. the logo is there too. anyway, i just thought this was a funny little millisecond moment now forever frozen in a digital file.

gone fishin'

From today, September 2nd, until September 25th I will be out of town. I will not have access to my email or internet until September 14th, so hang tight and I'll reply when I can. Also my phone will not have service. Disconnected from the world... :)

Where am I going? Good question- read this post on my other blog...
