Wow, I officially had the MOST RANDOM and crazy day (and night) yesterday. Awesome pics and a great story to come later tonight! Stay tuned folks...

*Update* OK I'm lame, that was totally a cliffhanger and I left all of you hanging big time! Now I'm away from home and have lots of time to show the pics and tell the story, but I took the pictures off the laptop! Errrr. O well, I'll be home next year so I'll put them up then... :)

Can't wait!
Blaine, your grandpa White loved going to the swap meet also. He was crazy about truck tires. He would buy them, regrooved them (cut threads), and back to the swap meet again to sell for more $$.
I bought my first 35mm FTb Canon camera at the swap meet in 1973 from a military guy. Joy & I were buying old gold wedding bands for our custom wedding rings that uncle Neil made. The camera came with a 58mm 1.2f lens (when I saw that lens, I had to get it), 35mm wide angle, tripod, filters, image splitter, and a case, all for $270 (a steal, a Pentax and a lens was $350 that I was going to buy that same day) and it was all new. I sold that camera later to your mom (bought a canon AE1).
