ZoZo

I'm keeping up on my attempt to post once a day... amazing! It's probably not going to last long though. There are two reasons why I've had time to post more than normal- 1) Bethany is out of town visiting her family in Michigan, and 2) My recently purchased dirt bike is broken! Bethany will be back on Thursday, and I'm hoping to have my bike fixed on Tuesday when a part comes in, so this posting may not last long. :)

Anyway, yesterday I headed down to the Columbia River in hopes of photographing kiteboarding with my underwater housing. I got down there, got out in the water and quickly realized that it wasn't really going to work because the river is big and the kiteboarders are really spread out, so I needed to communicate with some of the guys beforehand and tell them where I am, so they could do stuff in front of me. So, luckily I brought our family dog Zoe (I call her ZoZo) with me and got some fun photos of her playing around in the water. ZoZo has tons of personality and she's super happy all the time. She's also OCD about everything, especially anything that she can fetch, it's pretty funny.

These 3 of her shaking off are so funny looking!

Funny you should say these things. Just what I told you! I tried to get you to come down when I was there and I would bust some fatty moves... Plus you gotta go when it's windy! In the photos it doesn't look like there is any wind. You are not everyone's idol... Offer to buy someone a six pack if they center their session around you!

colin-
i would have loved to go down when you were here, but that was by far the busiest time of the summer for me. now I actually have some free time so it's been nice.
great pointer to go take photos of kiteboarding when there is wind. I would have never thought!? kidding dude. may not look like it in the photos but there was tons of wind, and 20+ kites out. i bet you miss it.
sorry if i came across like i expected everyone to ride in front of me and "idolize" me...? before i went down there i had a feeling that it was going to be hard to shoot without making plans with someone beforehand, so it was kind of a test run. good thing i was just as happy shooting zozo eh?

You never understand my humor...

ZO is pretty much the best dog in the world!

Yeah I miss kiteboarding, but my knee is still kinda bad so it makes it a bit more easier.

Holly and I went to check out a lake here to kite on... nothing compares to the gorge.

Sorry I don't mean to sound like a smart butt on your blog.

hey col,

ya i guess i don't understand your humor, haha. or at least just not on the blog... i'm sure if you said the same thing in person i'd laugh, but to me you did come across as being kinda pissy. point scored for the good ol' classic human interaction!

love ya bro.

I am laughing so hard at what I just read...having a online fight, explaining yourselves, apologizing and forgiving each other. Well, I guess its better to make up then stay mad over such silly things.

and you don't have to worry about the idolize thing, because I adore both of you.
